Fall has officially arrived in the Hill Country, and this weekend has a lot going on. Three of the season’s biggest happenings overlap: Foxtoberfest at 12 Fox, the Hill Country Harvest Market at Ranch Park, and the Driftwood Fall Festival Pumpkin Patch at Vista Brewing. Add a 5K, a gallery reception, mini goats, and live music almost every hour of the day, and you’ve got a full four days, since Monday is a school holiday too.

Friday, October 9: Ease Into the Weekend

Start the weekend with Mark Chandler at Dripping Springs Distilling from 4–7 PM. It’s free, all ages, and an easy way to kick off the weekend.

🐯 Top pick: Run it, then celebrate at 12 Fox
Lace up for the Corks + Caps Wine/Beer Festival 5K (8 AM–noon), then stick around. Foxtoberfest kicks off at noon with free Oktoberfest music, food and games until 5 PM, and Football Weekends keeps the games on until 8 PM. You could spend the whole day there and not run out of things to do.

Hill Country Harvest Market, 10 AM–5 PM at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Shop local makers, and your admission covers both Saturday and Sunday.
Driftwood Fall Festival Pumpkin Patch, 11 AM–7 PM at Vista Brewing.
Succulent Pumpkin DIY Fall Centerpiece Workshop, 11 AM–1 PM at Vista Brewing with Rooted Treasures Succulents. Ticketed, so book ahead.
Capital Art Society: Changing Light Reception, 3–5 PM at Primal Gallery. A free public art reception with refreshments.
Live music all afternoon and night:

Yes, mini goats. Join Goat Shenanigans at Vista Brewing for wooden-pumpkin painting with mini goats, 11 AM–12:30 PM. It’s ticketed, and it will be popular.

Monday, October 12: Bonus Day
Kids out of school? Driftwood Fall Festival: School Holiday Special opens 11 AM–5 PM at Vista Brewing with $5 tickets, which is a great deal for a family day out.
That evening, 12 Fox hosts the Fireside Chat Veteran & First Responder Dinner, 7–9 PM. It’s a free dinner for veterans, first responders and their families. Please share it with someone who’s served.
