Where to Watch the World Cup Final in Dripping Springs

Jul 13, 2026~3 min readShare

The World Cup doesn't come to North America every year, and with the final just days away, Dripping Springs has its own way of getting in on the action — no trip to Dallas or Miami required.

Where the Tournament Stands Right Now

The 2026 World Cup is down to its final four, with the semifinals set for this week: France takes on Spain Tuesday in Dallas, followed by England vs. Argentina on Wednesday.

All four remaining teams — Spain, France, England, and Argentina — were pre-tournament favorites, while host nations USA, Mexico, and Canada have already been eliminated.

The individual storylines are just as compelling as the bracket. Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi are currently tied at 8 goals apiece in the race for the tournament's top scorer, with both of their nations still alive heading into the semifinals.

The final is set for Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Where to Watch in Dripping Springs

You don't need to leave town to catch the match with a crowd. Acopon Brewing Co, located downtown at 211 W Mercer St., is showing World Cup matches with sound on throughout the tournament. It's an English-style cask ale brewery, which makes it a fitting spot to watch the world's game — grab a pint and settle in.

The Dripping Springs Brewery World Cup Challenge

Destination Dripping Springs, the city's tourism organization, put together a World Cup–themed spin on their popular brewery passport events this summer, and it runs past the final itself.

Here's how it works:

  1. Pick up your passport at any of the 10 participating breweries (listed below).

  2. Visit at least 5 of them, collecting a stamp at each stop.

  3. Fill out your contact information on the passport.

  4. Return your completed passport to any participating brewery or the Dripping Springs Visitors Center to get your sticker.

  5. You're automatically entered to win prizes — gift cards, merch, and more — from the participating breweries.

The prize drawing is Wednesday, July 29, 2026, so there's time to enjoy the final and still finish the challenge afterward.

The 10 participating breweries:

  • Jester King Brewery

  • Suds Monkey Brewing

  • Vista Brewing

  • Lone Man Mountain Brewing Co.

  • Bell Springs Brewing Company

  • Twisted X Brewing Company

  • Ghost Note Brewing

  • Acopon Brewing

  • 12 Fox Beer Co.

  • Fitzhugh Brewing

Since Acopon Brewing is both a confirmed World Cup viewing spot and one of the 10 challenge breweries, it's an easy first stop — watch the match, get your stamp, and start your passport in one visit.

Final Weekend Tips

  • Arrive early. Semifinal and final matches draw bigger crowds than group-stage games, especially at venues confirmed to have sound on.

  • Check hours before you go. Some breweries open early for World Cup matches depending on kickoff times — worth a quick call or check of their social pages the morning of.

  • Don't rush the brewery challenge. With the drawing on July 29, you've got time after the final to knock out your remaining 5 stops without cramming them all into one weekend.
