This past weekend, our little corner of the Hill Country showed up big for America's 250th birthday — and if you caught any of the fireworks around town, you know it was a celebration to remember.

Freedom Fest Dripping Springs — hosted by Fireside Chat Support Network in partnership with 12 Fox Beer Co., this all-day celebration at 4700 W Fitzhugh Road brought fireworks, live music, food, a vendor market, and a silent auction to the community. 🔗 freedomfestdrippingsprings.com
Fire in the Sky! — Dripping Springs Ranch Park hosted its own firework celebration on July 4th, sponsored by Carrie Isaac, drawing families out with lawn chairs and blankets for a classic small-town Independence Day show. 🔗 drippingspringsranchpark.com

Dripping Springs Farmers Market — Every Wednesday Held weekly at The Pound House Farmstead at Founders Memorial Park, the farmers market is the easiest way to grab fresh, local produce while it's still cool enough outside to enjoy it. Go early — mornings beat the afternoon heat.
Winery & Distillery Patio Nights Dripping Springs and neighboring Driftwood are home to some of the Hill Country's best wineries and distilleries — many with shaded patios, live music, and misting fans that make evenings genuinely pleasant even in July.
Splash Pads & Swimming Holes July is the month to know where the water is.
The Founders Memorial Park Pool — right in town at the same park as the farmers market — is an easy, affordable go-to for families, with resident and non-resident rates. If you're up for a day trip, Hamilton Pool Preserve is the Hill Country showstopper, but it requires a timed-entry reservation and a short, steep hike down, so plan ahead and go early for cooler temps and thinner crowds.
